This project is an exploration of the power of solitude and the stillness that arises when the outside world falls away. Inspired by monastic life. Together with a scenographer we created a set and costume design in which shadow and light form the only frameworks. In this serene space, solitude is not a loss, but a conscious state of being.

The costumes in this setting function as abstract coverings that both conceal and accentuate the human form. By working with layered latex , textured fabrics that seem to merge into the architecture of the space, the boundary between the body and the environment becomes fluid. we created almost live paintings with our scenography, inspired by renaissance classic paintings
